Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum (DOE) + £5,000 welcome bonus + up to £10,000 annual bonus

Service: Children’s Home

Service Users: Young people aged 12–18 with complex mental health needs, including risk of self‑injurious behaviours

Qualifications Required:

  • Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care (essential)
  • Level 5 in Leadership & Management (preferred or must enrol within 6 months)

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 2 years in residential childcare, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years

Who we are looking for:

Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead a specialist 2‑bed home supporting young people with complex mental health needs. You will:

  • Lead and develop a high‑performing staff team
  • Create and oversee tailored care plans covering therapeutic, educational, and emotional needs
  • Work closely within a multi‑disciplinary team including clinicians and education staff
  • Ensure high standards of care aligned with Ofsted and regulatory frameworks
  • Manage safeguarding concerns, complaints, and risk effectively
  • Drive positive outcomes and safe transitions for young people

Experience working with mental health, trauma, or high‑risk behaviours is highly desirable. Understanding of the Mental Health Act is beneficial.
