Job Title: Regional Manager

Location: Manchester

Salary: £60,000 per annum

Working Hours / Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week, primarily Monday to Friday. Flexibility required to work outside normal hours to meet the needs of the service.

Experience Required: Significant experience within Children's Residential Care, including leadership, compliance, safeguarding, and multi-site management.

Our client is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership across their children's residential services. The successful candidate will work closely with the Responsible Individual to ensure homes remain compliant, financially stable, and focused on achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing leadership and oversight across children's residential homes
  • Recruiting and supporting Registered Managers
  • Delivering supervision and line management support to Home Managers
  • Supporting services to achieve and maintain at least a Good Ofsted rating, with the ambition of achieving Outstanding
  • Reviewing referrals and supporting occupancy management
  • Auditing services and providing monthly performance reports
  • Reviewing and updating policies and procedures
  • Leading monthly managers' meetings
  • Monitoring Regulation 44 reports and overseeing action plans
  • Identifying training and development needs across the residential division
  • Responding promptly to safeguarding concerns and ensuring risks are effectively managed
  • Keeping services aligned with current legislation, regulations, and best practice
  • Visiting each children's home weekly to provide support and guidance
