Location: Walkden, Greater Manchester

Provision: Children’s Residential Home (Ages 7–17, EBD & Mild Learning Difficulties) - This is a New Home for an Established Provider

Hours: 48 hours per week, days only, rolling rota (you will manage the rota, including your own shifts) - Sleep will be required

Salary: £38,600 per annum

About the Role

Are you an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker or Deputy Manager ready to step up and lead a high-quality team? You’ll work closely with an experienced Registered Manager, helping to shape a safe, supportive environment and lead your team in delivering exceptional outcomes for children and young people.

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent)
  • Experience in a Deputy, Assistant Manager or Senior RSW role within residential childcare
  • Understanding of safeguarding, legislation, and leadership within a care home environment
  • Full UK Driving Licence (Manual – Essential)
  • Fluent in English with strong communication and IT skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support your team in delivering exceptional, person-centred care
  • Support with recruitment, rota management, supervisions, and audits
  • Work closely with education and therapeutic professionals to deliver holistic care
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, professionals and regulatory bodies
  • Promote a culture of high expectations and continuous development
