Salary: £30,400 – £33,000 per annum (inclusive of sleep‑ins)

Working Hours: 40 hours per week + 2 sleep‑ins

Service: Children’s Home

Service Users: Young People with Trauma, EBD

Qualifications Required: Relevant childcare / social care qualification preferred (Level 3 encouraged)

Experience Required: 1 year working with children (preferred, not essential)

Employment Type: Permanent – Full‑Time / Part‑Time

You will:

  • Provide day-to‑day care and emotional support
  • Engage young people in fun, educational and recreational activities
  • Support school runs, family contact and extra‑curricular activities
  • Carry out everyday parental responsibilities such as cooking and cleaning
  • Maintain accurate daily records and complete health & safety checks
  • Work collaboratively with social workers and professionals
  • Work 24‑hour shift patterns including sleep‑ins, weekends
