About the Role
As a Senior Childcare Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Mild Learning Difficulties (MLD). You will be a role model, mentor, and key worker, ensuring the best possible care and outcomes for the children. What We’re Looking For
- Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner or Level 3 Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Experience working with children in residential care or similar settings
- Ability to manage challenging behaviours and create a nurturing environment
- Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
- Fluency in English (with the ability to understand UK dialects)
- Alternative Qualifications Considered: If you hold a Level 3 Diploma in Adult Social Care, we will consider your application if you can demonstrate experience working with children and or YPs
Key Responsibilities
- Support young people with emotional and behavioural needs in a residential setting

- Contribute to care planning, behaviour management, and safeguarding processes
- Support less experienced staff and lead shifts as required
