The predicted salary is between 11 - 17 £ per hour.

Location: Little Addington, Kettering (NN14)

Salary: £14.18 per hour (dependent on skills and experience)

Working Hours: 42 hours per week across a variety of shifts on a rota

Service Users: Children with learning disabilities

Qualifications Required: NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or working towards)

Experience Required: Experience supporting children and young people with learning disabilities

This residential home supports children with learning disabilities and aims to help them achieve independence, develop through education, and enjoy a fulfilling life.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Team Leader to join the team and support the Service Manager in leading day‑to‑day operations. You will:

  • Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower young people to achieve their goals
  • Promote health, well‑being, education, and recreational activities
  • Support young people to maintain family and significant relationships
  • Complete records and documents accurately
  • Assist with day‑to‑day household tasks including cooking, cleaning, and shopping
  • Support young people with personal care and hygiene

Do not apply for this role if any of the following apply to you:

  • You do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence and do not have a car
  • You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (not deemed equivalent)
  • Candidates with only HealthCare, NHS, CQC, or Nursery Practitioner qualifications
  • You require sponsorship – no sponsorship available

Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children’s Home will not be considered.
