Salary: Base salary of £31,432.09, increasing to £32,817.82 after probation. Potential earnings up to £34,497.82 including sleep-ins.
Working Hours / Shift Pattern: Approx. 40 hours per week, shift pattern includes days, evenings, and weekends (every other weekend off)
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Sleep-ins: Approx. 1 sleep-in per week at £35 per sleep

Service Users: Boys aged 12–18 with challenging behaviours
Qualifications Required: Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare / Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
Experience Required: Experience working with teenage boys or young people with challenging behaviours

Who we are looking for: Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker who can lead by example and provide high-quality care and guidance to young people. You will be confident in:
- Leading on young people’s care, welfare and development
- Supporting Residential Support Workers on shift
- Maintaining compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and internal procedures
- Working collaboratively with parents, carers, local authorities and professionals
- Creating engaging activities that promote development and independence
- Managing challenging behaviour calmly and consistently
- Maintaining accurate written records and reports
- Upholding safeguarding standards at all times
You will also need:
- A full UK driving licence
- Access to your own vehicle (rural location)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility across shift patterns
