We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Registered Manager to lead a team dedicated to creating a supportive environment where children and young people can thrive. This role requires a forward-thinking, warm, and approachable leader who prioritises safeguarding and works collaboratively with all staff, families, and agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
Responsibilities of a Registered Manager
- Ensure the home meets all requirements of The Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and exceeds the Quality Standards
- Safeguard the children and young people in your care
- Lead, manage, and motivate your team to provide the highest quality of care
- Collaborate positively with agencies, families, and stakeholders
- Ensure staff work to deliver positive outcomes for children and young people
- Oversee staff performance and ensure an effective workforce strategy, including recruitment, induction, rota management, supervision, and professional development
- Monitor facilities, resources, practices, and records regularly following our Quality Assurance Process
- Strategically develop the home to ensure sustainability, viability, and growth
Key Skills Required
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience with prior Ofsted registration
- Strong leadership and time management skills
- Knowledgeable in current care legislation and high-quality outcomes
- Skilled in providing flexible, personalised care packages
- Experienced in partnership with local authorities, parents, and other stakeholders
- Full UK driving licence
