Location: Winsford

Working Hour: 2 days on, 4 days off (rolling rota, including evenings, weekends & sleep‑ins)

Hourly Rate: £13.50 per hour

Number of Sleeps Required: Included within rota c 10 to 11 per month

Pay Per Sleep: £65

Service: Children’s Home

Service Users: YPs aged 7–17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)

Qualifications Required: Full induction and QCF Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (provided if not already held)

Experience in Years Required: Experience desirable but not essential

Who we are looking for…

We are seeking resilient, nurturing, and motivated Residential Support Workers who can provide consistent care and stability for children with challenging behaviours. You must have the passion to safeguard, inspire, and help young people achieve positive outcomes.

You will need to:

  • Experience working in a Children’s Home with Children under the age of 17 years old.
  • Provide day‑to‑day support, care, and activities to children and young people.
  • Manage challenging behaviour with professionalism.
  • Work as part of a therapeutic team alongside psychologists and specialist services.
  • Be flexible to work shift patterns, including sleep‑ins, evenings, and weekends.
  • Hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Be aged 21 or over.

  • You do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence and do not have a car.
  • You only have experience in HealthCare, NHS, CQC, or as a Nursery Practitioner.
  • You require sponsorship (sponsorship is not available).
  • Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children’s Home will not be considered.
