We are seeking an empathetic, dynamic, and nurturing individual with strong leadership skills to join our team as a Trainee Manager. The ideal candidate will have a background in Residential Children's Social Care and be confident in supporting staff and young people in a trauma-informed environment.

Main Duties of a Trainee Manager:
- Assist the Manager in the day-to-day running of the Home.
- Ensure children and staff are safeguarded, supervised, and mentored.
- Promote relationships as central to the therapeutic approach.
- Provide empathetic leadership, coordinating the staff team.
- Deliver meaningful supervisions and promote reflective practice.
- Manage paperwork accurately, including Care Plans, Risk Assessments, and Behaviour Support Plans.
- Ensure Health and Safety Regulations are followed.
- Oversee financial budgets, administration, and record-keeping.
Skills and Qualifications:
- MUST have 1 year's experience in Residential Children's Social Care (preferably as a Senior Support Worker).
- Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Residential Childcare.
- Understanding of Trauma-Informed Care and the PACE model.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- UK Driving Licence.
- Confidence in understanding Children's Home Regulations and safeguarding requirements.
- Clear DBS and positive references from previous roles.
- Ability to deal with challenging situations in a nurturing and consistent way.
