Salary: £50,000 per annum DOE plus £3,000 on registration

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Service: Children’s Home

Service Users: Young People with learning disabilities, Autism, epilepsy, and associated behaviours (including non-verbal communication)

Qualifications Required:

  • Level 3 in Children's Residential Care (essential)
  • Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (preferred or enrol within 6 months of starting)

Experience:

  • At least 2 years in residential care of children
  • 1 year in a supervisory role

  • Knowledge: Thorough understanding of Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Skills: Proficiency in planning, organising, budget control, resource allocation, and team leadership.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills.
  • Specialist Knowledge: Trauma-informed approaches and managing challenging behaviours.
  • Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence required.
