This is a rare opportunity to join our client at an exciting stage, with a fully refurbished children’s home that is ready to open. The staffing team is already in place, and the final key appointment needed is an experienced Registered Manager to lead the service through registration and opening.
This is a Learning Disabilities provision, so previous LD experience is essential. Our client is seeking a manager who understands how to create stable, nurturing, structured environments that deliver exceptional outcomes for children and young people with additional needs.
What we are looking for: Our client is looking for an experienced, child-focused Registered Manager with proven experience in children’s residential care and a strong background supporting young people with Learning Disabilities. The successful candidate will be confident leading an Ofsted registration process from the beginning, including SC1 / SC2 submissions, and building a high-performing, stable home environment.
Who you will be working for: Company type/size: Established children’s residential care provider with 6 Homes. This is a provider built around supporting its staff properly and creating long-term career opportunities. You will be supported by an in-house Responsible Individual with 16 years of children’s residential management experience, alongside an experienced senior leadership team with extensive sector knowledge. They do not rely on agency staffing, and the majority of their team have progressed internally, creating a stable, committed, values-led culture.
