This is a small, nurturing solo placement home designed to offer stability, safety, and emotional development for one young person with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and trauma-related needs.

Who We Are Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people. This may suit a Senior or Deputy Manager looking to step up and learn from the Registered Manager.

Essential Requirements:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or willingness to work towards it)
  • Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner or Level 3 Residential Childcare
  • Previous experience supervising RSW or SRSW within an Ofsted-registered children’s home
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and Ofsted frameworks (SCCIF)
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • A valid Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own car

About the Role

As the Trainee Registered Manager, you will work alongside the Registered Manager. Duties include:

  • Hold overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and organisational policies
  • Oversee admissions, care planning, and quality assurance
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding and emotional wellbeing for each young person
  • Represent the service in meetings with professionals, commissioners, and Ofsted
