The predicted salary is between 13 - 18 £ per hour.

Location: Bacup OL13

Salary: £15.90 per hour + £3,000 Welcome Bonus

Working Hours: 160 hours per month

Service: Children’s Home

Service Users: Young People aged 8–17 with EBD (Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties)

Qualifications Required: Level 3 Children & Young People’s Workforce

Experience Required: Experience within children’s residential care

We are seeking a Deputy Manager to support the smooth running of the home, working closely with the Registered Manager to:

  • Lead and mentor staff
  • Support young people with EBD and complex needs
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and Ofsted standards
  • Contribute to a positive, nurturing environment where children thrive

Company Size: Small, family-owned residential care provider

Number of Homes: 3–4 homes

Future Plans: Growth and staff development opportunities

Other Services: Specialist children’s residential services

Progression Opportunity: Career development towards Registered Manager roles

  • Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children’s Home will not be considered
