Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (occasional shifts if required)

Service Users: YPs aged 10–18 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Learning Disabilities (LD)

Qualifications Required: NVQ/Diploma Level 3 or 4 in Children & Young People (essential); Level 5 Diploma or management qualification (desirable)

Experience in Years Required: Minimum 3 years in Residential Childcare, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role

We are seeking a confident and experienced Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in the day‑to‑day leadership and operations of the home. The successful candidate will take the lead on operational areas and deputise in the manager's absence. A strong understanding of the needs of young people with EBD and LD is essential, alongside a firm commitment to providing consistent, therapeutic care.

This is a well‑established, highly respected children’s residential provider with over 25 years of experience supporting young people with complex needs across the North West. The service operates multiple homes and is known for creating safe, structured, and therapeutic environments based on a cognitive behavioural model.
