Our Client are looking for a Maintenance Assistant for an initial 6 months contract in Westhill to start at the end of October
The roles require semi-skilled mechanical experience, with duties including:
- Operating breakout machines
- Forklift operation
- Mechanical lifting
- Pressure operations
Candidates should be local to Aberdeen. The role is five days per week during normal working hours, approximately 37.5 hours per week.
Rate: Β£15/h
Duration: 6 months initial contract with possibility to extend depending on performance.
Qualifications: (Preferred though not essential)
- Mechanical/ Technical minded
- Forklift License
- Overhead Gantry Crane
- Pressure Awareness
The Maintenance Associate is responsible to perform maintenance activities per the Maintenance Program and ensure on-time delivery of equipment in accordance with operational demand.
The Maintenance Associate supports initiatives to improve the maintenance-related Cost of Service Delivery (CoSD), Maintenance Efficiency, People Productivity, and Asset Availability within the Center of Reliability and Efficiency (CRE) or Maintenance Base (MB), or Maintenance Center.
- Under direct supervision of either a Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Technician, perform assigned higher-level maintenance activities.
- Adhere to transactional discipline within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems, accurately capturing maintenance related data.
- Comply with the Company and respective division TLM standards.
- Maintain and build competency in compliance with the TLM Competency Management System.
- Participate in and support continuous improvement (CI) initiatives
