Role: Agricultural Inspector

Job Type: Permanent

Location: West Thurrock (Southeast of England which includes Tilbury, West Thurrock, North Kent and Ipswich and any other locations as and when required)

Hours: 48 hours annualised contract- Including days, evenings and weekends (12 hour days, working around ship/vessel timings)

Salary: £30,476, including company car

We’re looking for an Agricultural Inspector to join our dynamic team. This role is open to both fully qualified inspectors and motivated individuals seeking to start and train in this field. You'll play a key role in maintaining quality standards across the agricultural supply chain, ensuring safety, compliance, and integrity in everything we do. This role is predominantly based at ports and operational sites, including work on vessels/ships, and involves a hands‑on, operational environment.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Conduct inspections of agricultural products and facilities
  • Perform sampling, grading, and testing in line with industry standards
  • Prepare accurate reports and documentation
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure compliance and quality assurance
  • Support training and development activities if joining in a trainee capacity

Qualifications

  • Experienced agricultural inspectors with relevant qualifications and industry knowledge
