Location: Warwickshire (Office and field based)

Salary: Competitive, including a company vehicle

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Do you enjoy working outdoors, generating real-world data, and supporting the future of agriculture? Join SGS and play a hands‑on role delivering high‑quality field research trials across the Agricultural, Horticultural and Amenity sectors.

You’ll work across the full lifecycle of field trials, from setting up plots and applying products, through to sampling, data collection and reporting, ensuring trials are delivered safely, accurately and to the highest industry standards.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Setting up and maintaining field trials on farms and trial sites
  • Safely preparing and applying products in line with trial protocols
  • Collecting, recording and analysing trial data using specialist software
  • Working independently in the field, with support from an experienced Trials Manager
  • Building positive relationships with growers, clients and colleagues

Qualifications:

What we’re looking for:

  • A degree (or equivalent experience) in Agriculture, Crop Science or a related life science
  • A genuine interest in field-based research and agriculture
  • Strong organisational skills and confidence working independently
  • A full UK driving licence
