Our team supports clients in optimising crop production, protecting the environment, and ensuring sustainable farming practices. We are now seeking a Trials Agronomist to join our Natural Resources team and play a key role in delivering high-quality agricultural trials.
What You’ll Do
- Plan, organise, and conduct field trials in line with Good Experimental Practice (GEP) and industry standards.
- Collect, analyse, and interpret trial data to support clients’ research and development objectives.
- Ensure the accurate application of treatments and precise trial assessments.
- Maintain trial sites, including land preparation, sowing, and harvesting.
- Communicate trial progress and results with clients and colleagues.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols while working with agricultural equipment, chemicals, and trial sites.
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Science, or alternative related experience.
- Previous experience in field trials or agricultural research (preferred but not essential for the right candidate).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow strict protocols.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- A full UK driving license (essential).
- A passion for agriculture, sustainability, and innovation.
Full training will be provided in this role, you will be working with colleagues to understand the nature of the role.
