- Job Title: Quality Compliance Officer
- Job Type: Permanent
- Location: Cambridge
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday 9am to 5.30pm
- Salary: From £28,000

Responsibilities
- Support compliance with ISO 17025, RSA, and ISO 9001 standards.
- Investigate laboratory non-conformances and anomalies, implementing corrective actions.
- Manage calibrations, servicing, and verification of critical laboratory equipment.
- Oversee and report on internal/external quality assurance and proficiency testing schemes.
- Conduct internal technical audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support training, documentation management, and method validations.
- Liaise with external assessment bodies and provide on-site audit support.
Qualifications
- Strong scientific background, ideally with some practical microbiology or laboratory experience.
- Exposure to quality systems, regulatory compliance, or accredited environments (desirable, not essential).
- Excellent communication, organisation, and documentation skills.
- Flexible, self-motivated, and able to work independently under pressure.
- Keen to develop a career in quality and compliance with full training provided.
