Our Asbestos Consultants carry out asbestos consultancy and surveying activities at client sites across the UK. The role provides expert advice on asbestos risks, ensuring clients meet legal, safety, and compliance standards. It also supports high-quality reporting, adherence to internal procedures, and continuous professional development.
- Conduct asbestos surveys, safely sample suspect materials, and accurately record findings in line with job instructions and internal procedures.
- Assess identified asbestos risks, advise clients on appropriate removal or safe management, and provide ongoing support to maintain compliance.
- Collaborate closely with clients and project teams, ensuring effective communication, timely reporting, and resolution of any on-site issues.
- Support quality assurance activities, including audits and corrective actions, while contributing to continual improvement and best practice.
Qualifications:
- Certification or qualification in asbestos surveying (e.g., BOHS P402).
- Proven experience as an Asbestos Surveyor, ideally within a similar role or environment.
- Strong knowledge of asbestos-related legislation, regulations, and guidelines.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to accurately record and document survey findings.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with survey software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- A valid driving license to use in the UK and willingness to travel to various sites as required.
