What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out valve maintenance, repair, overhaul and certification activities safely and efficiently, ensuring work is completed to a high technical standard and customer deadlines are met.
- Providing mechanical and technical support to colleagues, engineers and clients, contributing to best practice and continuous improvement.
- Working in line with SGS procedures, risk assessments and industry standards, with safety and compliance at the heart of everything you do.
- Completing job documentation and certification accurately and on time, ensuring full quality and legislative compliance.
- Supporting overall team and departmental performance through safe working behaviours, correct use of SGS equipment, and a commercially aware approach to service delivery.

Qualifications
- Minimum Full Drivers License for use in the UK
- Mechanical Fitting Background
- Fork Lift Truck License
- Mechanical Fitter (Apprentice trained or equivalent) with at least 3 years within a mechanical engineering discipline.
- Safety Passport
- Knowledge of Valve certification and overhaul requirements
