Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Lead Inspectors and Inspectors to support long‑duration manufacturing surveillance and inspection activities for subsea and offshore pipeline buoyancy module projects. The role involves resident and spot inspection coverage across qualification and production phases at UK‑based vendor and sub‑vendor facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Resident and spot inspection throughout qualification and production stages
- Manufacturing surveillance in accordance with Purchase Orders, ITPs, drawings, and datasheets
- Visual and dimensional inspections
- Witnessing of tests (pressure testing, performance testing, FATs as applicable)
- Review of Material Test Certificates (MTCs), Certificates of Conformance (CoCs), and sub‑vendor documentation
- Identification, issuance, and close‑out of NCRs
- Packing, marking, and load‑out inspections
- Preparation and issuance of Inspection Reports, Punch Lists, and Inspection Release Notes (IRNs)
Qualifications
- 5-10+ years of relevant inspection experience
- Strong background in offshore / subsea / manufacturing environments
- Experience with polymer products, buoyancy modules, coatings, fasteners, or similar equipment preferred
- Certified or experienced in visual and dimensional inspection
- Proven experience reviewing MTCs, CoCs, and technical supplier documentation
- Strong understanding of quality plans, ITPs, and inspection procedures
- Ability to work independently in a resident inspection capacity
