Qualifications

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) preferred; Level 3 accepted with willingness to complete Level 5.

Experience

  • Minimum 12 months' experience as a Registered Manager within an Ofsted-regulated children's home; must have managed a multi-bed service; experience supporting children with LD is essential.
  • An experienced and confident Registered Manager with a proven track record of managing multi-bed children's homes.
  • A leader with strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and compliance.
  • Someone experienced in supporting children and young people with Learning Disabilities.
  • A manager who can lead from the front, develop staff teams, and drive high standards of care and outcomes.
  • A professional with resilience, strong decision-making ability, and a child-centred approach.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
