SGS Glasgow is the Global Centre of Excellence for Biosafety Testing, we help ensure vaccines, gene and cell therapies, and other biological medicines are safe and ready for the world.
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Glasgow
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday
What You’ll Do
- Keep our Molecular Biology labs clean, tidy, and compliant with SOPs.
- Manage stock so our scientists always have what they need.
- Prepare key reagents like primers, probes, and HP DNA/RNA.
- Handle lab waste safely, including autoclave use.
- Keep paperwork accurate and up to date.
- Work closely with the team, managers, and clients to keep testing on track.
Qualifications
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- Lab experience (nice to have, not essential).
- Commitment to safety and compliance.
- Clear, confident communication.
