Industry - Legal Services
As a member of the Legal Team you'll assist in the provision of first line legal advice, support and training to all internal businesses and functions, offering a practical and informed interpretation of the laws affecting the Company in response to routine and non-routine matters.
Key Accountabilities:
- Assist in the review and negotiation of contracts
- Assist in property management
- Assist in the management of litigation matters affecting the Company and co-ordinate improvements to systems and procedures needed as a result of successful claims
- Assist with acquisitions/disposals
- Assist in the provision of Company Secretarial services to the Company and its UK affiliates
- Assist, where required, in employment law issues affecting the Company
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has already gained experience working in commercial law either in-house or within private practice - drafting/negotiating commercial contracts, managing litigation and commercial property and have an understanding of IPRs and data protection.
Qualifications / Experience Required:
- Law Degree or professional legal qualification
- Full driving license for use in the UK
- Working knowledge of commercial law
- Negotiating contracts
