The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Ensure at a Construction level all Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Inspection as requested by the Projects performed by the Contractors, is in accordance with the design and technical specifications of the Contract.

Primary Functions:

  • Interface: Both On-site and off-site requirements meet project specific standards and specifications and ensure the Contractors are aligned with the technical specifications and enforce the HSE requirements of the CAP 25 Projects.
  • Interface: Attends Project meetings as required.
  • Review: Continually review the on-site construction activities of the Contractors to ensure that they are aligned with the technical specifications and the varying external technical interfaces.
  • Review: To ensure compliance with the latest pre-commissioning procedures and drawings.
  • Changes: Ensure that on-site changes in the design of the terminal are reported to management via Discipline Engineer.
  • Trouble shooting: Solve on-site construction problems during EPC phases.
  • Day to day: Monitor and report the construction activities and perform as directed by the Quality Manager, site inspection and tests, progress status, including field quality inquiries for resolutions via Discipline Engineer.
  • Completion: Sign construction documentation as requested (within Limits of Authority).
  • Completion: Check as built documentation and records as requested by Quality or Discipline Engineer.

Personal Responsibilities: Project team shall provide leadership and be a role model to all others in the project site(s) with regards adherence to, HSE management system, HSE requirements in the Projects rules and regulations as well and all related regulatory authority requirements. It shall also always take reasonable care for the safety and health of its personnel and all other persons at work affected by its acts throughout the execution of Projects.

Qualifications: CompEx – Ex01-Ex04 (Gas), City and Guilds, ONC/HNC, ATEX

Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a quality control role.

Note 1: Experience in quality control in the Petrochemical Industry, use of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Completions Management Systems (CMS).

Note 2: Experience with Honeywell DCS, Wood GoTechnology (QEDI) CMS, Emerson Process instrumentation would be a bonus.
