SGS’s Industries and Environment services help businesses ensure safety, sustainability, and compliance through testing, inspection, certification, and consulting—supporting sectors from manufacturing to infrastructure and environmental management.
As a Driver you’ll be responsible for ensuring the safe packaging and transportation of customers' equipment to and from various locations to meet immediate branch and client requirements.
Key Accountabilities:- Collect and deliver customers' equipment in a timely manner as directed by Line Supervisors so that timescales for promised dispatches and deliveries are met.
- Pack equipment into the correct packaging or transport boxes with the appropriate cushioning and absorbent materials so that samples arrive safely and undamaged at their end destination.
- As a frequent “first point of contact” between SGS and our clients, duties shall be performed in a helpful and courteous manner so as to present a professional image of the company.
- Nationwide Delivery experience
- Full clean UK driving license
- Geographical understanding of the relevant work areas and the appropriate client site rules and regulations.
- Understands the principles of sound, safe packaging requirements.
