Our Client, Boccard, are currently looking for a Welding Engineer on a temp to perm basis at their site in Deeside.
Your responsibilities:
- Serve as the RWC / Welding Authority providing technical assurance and ensuring compliance in support of project delivery teams.
- Coordinate NDT and QC activities ensuring inspection processes, hold points, and personnel certifications comply with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the investigation and resolution of welding non-conformances, including complex technical issues, collaborating with NDT specialists and production leadership to implement effective corrective actions and achieve timely close-out.
- Oversee weld procedure governance, including WPS/WPQRs and welder qualifications ensuring alignment with project specifications.
- Maintain accurate welder qualification and continuity records, ensuring ongoing compliance and traceability.
Qualification required: IWE/ EWE
Preferred: NDT (PCN / MPI /DPI) and CSWIP
Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 3.30pm
Friday 7.30am to 12.30
Role is based in Deeside to start asap.
