SGS’s C&P (Consumer and Products) services help businesses ensure product safety, quality, and compliance through testing, inspection, certification, and auditing—covering everything from manufacturing to distribution across various consumer goods sectors.
We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded individual to support the sales operations within our Connectivity business. This role plays a key part in managing customer enquiries, preparing accurate quotations, and ensuring smooth order processing. You will work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to drive enquiry-to-order conversion and enhance overall customer experience. This is a great opportunity to contribute to business growth while developing your commercial and technical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities- Manage customer enquiries and prepare accurate, timely quotations in line with business KPIs
- Proactively track and progress quotations through to closure, engaging directly with clients
- Liaise with internal teams and customers to gather information and deliver solutions-focused support
- Maintain and update CRM systems, ensuring enquiry and lead data is accurate and up to date
- Support sales growth by identifying opportunities, nurturing existing accounts, and contributing to marketing initiatives
- Essential
- GCSEs at grade C or above in English and Maths
- Qualification in engineering subject (ideally to HNC level or above)
- Desirable
- Experience in a TIC related business
- Driving licence for use in the UK
