- What You'll Be Doing
- Analysing water, soil, and environmental samples using a range of organic testing techniques.
- Operating and maintaining analytical instrumentation, including GC, GC-MS, and HPLC.
- Developing, validating, and improving test methods to enhance laboratory capability.
- Interpreting and reporting results accurately using our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Ensuring all testing is carried out in line with ISO 17025 and laboratory quality standards.
- Investigating quality issues and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborating with colleagues to deliver accurate results and exceptional service to customers.

Qualifications
- Experience working in a laboratory environment, ideally with GC-MS, GC-FID, HPLC, LC-MS, ICP, or similar analytical techniques.
- Knowledge of ISO 17025 or other regulated laboratory quality systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A qualification in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
- Good computer skills, including experience using LIMS or other laboratory software.
- Full UK driving licence.
