- Hours: 40 hours per week, covering early mornings, days, evenings and nights. This will be on a 8 week rotating cycle

Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Chemist to join our laboratory team, providing essential analytical support to the oil and gas industry. This role is integral to maintaining the high standards of quality and reliability our clients depend on.
Working in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment, you\’ll carry out a range of chemical analyses to ensure timely and accurate results, contributing directly to operational excellence
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and advanced testing on oil, gas, and related samples in line with international industry standards.
- Analyse, interpret, and validate test results, ensuring high levels of accuracy and quality.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet testing schedules and client deadlines.
- Accurately document test procedures, observations, and results in accordance with company protocols.
Qualifications
- A degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Previous laboratory experience preferred – ideally within oil and gas, though not essential.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
- A valid UK driving licence is required due to the hours of the shifts.
