Job Title: Fire Risk AssessorJob Type: PermanentLocations: Field Based Role available in the following location: West MidlandsHours : Monday to Friday 40 hours per weekSalary: from £42,000 pa DOE & Company VehicleIndustry: EnvironmentalAs a Fire Risk Assessor, you will undertake fire risk assessments across a range of commercial, industrial and public-sector environments, identifying hazards and providing practical recommendations to help clients manage their fire safety responsibilities.
Conducting fire risk assessments in accordance with current legislation, standards and best practice guidance.
Identify and highlight fire safety risks, providing clear recommendations and escalating high-risk concerns where appropriate.
Produce, review and quality check detailed fire risk assessment reports.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who combines s trong technical knowledge with excellent communication and customer service skillsEssential Qualifications / ExperienceLevel 3 Fire Risk Assessment qualificationRegistered with a recognised professional body - IFE / IFSM / FRACSFull Driving License for use in the UKMinimum 5 years relevant work experience in Fire Risk AssessingNEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate (Desirable)Additional Information At SGS, we believe in rewarding our employees for their hard work and commitment.
