Our Client are looking for a Lead QC inspector with management of small team (resident Inspector) for wind turbines manufacturing follow up. Specialized and qualified in welding, structural engineering, and non-destructive testing. Experience with EPCI contracts - Significant experience in quality management and coordination in a shipyard/yard is required, preferably in the offshore industry Starting of assignment : 21/09/2026 Location: Wallsend NE28 6HL Duration : 12 months Renewable The QC Lead Inspector is the main Sub-contractor focal point for all quality activities (quality assurance and quality control) at Fabrication Yard. Quality assurance (QA): set of activities for ensuring quality in the processes. The activities focus on defect prevention by defining systemic procedures in the production process to ensure full compliance of the products to be delivered. Quality control (QC): set of activities for ensuring quality in the products. The activities focus on defect identification by implementing quality inspections on the actual products delivered. Further principles are specified within a dedicated Quality Assurance Plan that will be communicated before starting the activity at the jacket fabrication yard.
