We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Business Controller to join our team in the UK. The Business Controller will play a key role in overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide financial guidance and support to the business and branch managers as a financial partner.
  • Overseeing all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Active participation in controlling the financial performance of the business operations, including monitoring and analysing performance and budgets, assisting with tenders and pricing, generation and follow up on financial reports including relevant KPIs for each business, providing insights and recommendations for business improvement.
  • Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has experience in:

  • Working in a financial leadership role, within a multi-site and multidisciplined organisation.
  • High levels of communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of standard commercial contracts, pricing models and accounting standards.

You will also have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent certification.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Full UK Driving License (Travel to sites may be required).
