As a member of the UK legal team, you'll assist in the provision of first line legal advice, support and training to a diverse range of businesses and functions, offering a practical and informed interpretation of the laws affecting SGS.
Key Accountabilities:
- Commercial Contracts: Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide variety of contracts, including supply and purchase agreements.
- Property Portfolio: Assisting in the management of the numerous offices, laboratories and workshops, with stakeholders and external advisors.
- Litigation: Assisting in the good management of complaints and claims, internally and with external counsel.
- Regulatory and Compliance: Supporting investigations and assisting with compliance programmes, policies and training.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role will be a confident contract drafter who can carry a full caseload without close supervision, remain calm under deadline pressure, with an eye for detail who builds good working relationships across a business, at all levels. Open to lawyers already in-house and to those in private practice.
Qualifications Required:
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales
- Minimum 3 years PQE
- Full driving license for use in the UK
