Site QA / QC Engineer in Bridgwater

Our Client, Boccard, a global industrial turnkey constructor specializing in the design, construction, and maintenance of innovative industrial plants are currently looking for a QA / QC Engineer experienced in the Nuclear for a 6 months contract to start with the possibility to be extended / become a permanent employee near Bridgewater, Somerset (TA7 0AJ) The QA/ QC Engineer is responsible for carrying out inspections in accordance with the Project Quality Plan. They will oversee the quality and safety of the companies welding and fabrication activities, including dimensional inspection. They are responsible for inspecting and assessing the strength and quality of welds, ensuring the correct equipment is being used, checking weld specifications and ensuring all safety regulations are being adhered to. CSWIP 3.1 & PCN Level 2 Radiographic Interpretation req as a min Part of the Quality team carrying our inspections and surveillance Assist Site Managers in their Quality requirements. Ensure that the Project Quality Plan / Inspection Test Plan is written in-line with the project requirements and is being effectively implemented and shared with relevant managers. Liaise with all sub-contractors and treatment works to carry out random inspections of these sites to ensure compliance to the required specifications as set out by contract and purchase orders.
