As a Lead Auditor for SGS you’ll be responsible for planning and conducting professional management system audits to enable delivery of assessment and certification services that meet client requirements and appropriate accreditation standards. As part of the role you will conduct audits (desk-based or on client’s site) in accordance with established procedures, maintaining a high standard of service delivery that ensures effective client relationships.
Other aspects of the role include:
- Provide accurate and timely reporting to assist the planning and management of operations
- Enhance client satisfaction and ensure compliance with standards
- Undertake personal professional development and ensure appropriate training records and personal logs are updated to maintain relevant auditor registrations and relevant industry knowledge
The candidate will be a qualified Lead Auditor with a Certification background or a diverse industry background.
Essential:
- Lead Auditor in ISO 9001 & 14001 & 45001
- NEBOSH General certificate or Level 6 Diploma
- Have held positions with responsibility of Quality, Health & Safety and/or Environmental management systems.
- Demonstrate strong working knowledge and experience of management system standards, compliance and auditing techniques.
- Have a varied breadth of industry sector experience
- Valid driving license for use in the UK
