The Fixed Income & Currencies (FIC) division offers access to a broad scope of exposure and opportunities across the Interest Rate, Foreign Exchange, Inflation, and Multi-asset universes. Summary of the key purposes of the role:
- Assist xVA traders with daily tasks
- Contribute to projects led by the team manager
- Assist with xVA management
- Collaborate with research and development teams to improve xVA pricers
Summary of responsibilities:
- Assist xVA traders with pricing derivatives across all asset classes traded within Capital Markets
- Explain pricing assumptions and calculations to Capital Markets sales and trading teams
- Monitor, in collaboration with support teams, the xVA fee workflows
- Help xVA traders optimize existing derivatives portfolios to reduce CVA, CVaR, capital, and funding costs
- Assist in implementing and monitoring processes for internal and external optimization tools
- Contribute to the development of pricing and risk management systems for xVA
Profile required:
- Degree or equivalent in Finance, Mathematics, or related discipline
- Derivatives pricing experience is highly advantageous
- Good understanding of counterparty exposure calculation
- Basic knowledge of regulatory constraints
- Basic knowledge of resource constraints impacting Global Markets
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload
- Ability to organize time and meet strict deadlines in a busy Front Office environment
