Responsibilities
The Global and Integrated Finance Division (DFIN) aims to add value to the SG Group and its business lines through organizational transformation and operational improvements. DFIN contributes to value creation via strategic advisory, steering, data production, and certification, supporting performance evaluation and informed decision-making across the Group.
DFIN PFS (Performance Financial Steering) manages the financial performance of GBIS, analyzing profitability and resource optimization, and supporting business partners and management. It promotes simplification and standardization of financial processes across business units.
In the UK, DFIN PFS oversees performance steering for Global Market, Global Banking, Advisory, Transaction and Payment Services, and other UK business lines. This role supports the UK business units, primarily assisting the team responsible for these units.
You will:
- Support senior team members with strategic and financial performance reports for UK Business Units (e.g., expenses, PnL, headcount) for Senior Management.
- Identify trends and areas for improvement, providing commentary on variances.
- Assist in analyzing regular reports, such as expenses reporting to Paris, monthly PnL, and month-end presentations.
- Coordinate with the team and respond to ad hoc requests and analyses.
- Collaborate with offshore partners to ensure timely deliverables and act as a liaison, anticipating issues and proposing solutions.
- Contribute to digitalization and efficiency initiatives, including the development of digital dashboards.
Profile required
- Degree or equivalent in a Finance-related field is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of breaking down complex issues and developing solutions.
- Results-oriented with effective goal-setting and resource management.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Critical thinking and high sensitivity to figures, with the ability to challenge data.
- Good oral and written communication skills for presenting to senior management.
