The Distribution and Credit Solutions group (DCS) is an integrated full-service platform geared to grow Societe Generale credit origination and to provide investors with the full suite of Credit services. It is a key component of the bank's Asset light model. DCS supports clients through unparalleled Securitized Products and Fund Financing franchises, which are closely originating credit through Alternative Investment Origination in order to distribute them into the capital markets.
This strong Engineering expertise contributes to the diversification of our Flow and Non-Flow Syndication groups who are in charge of the underwriting of loans and bonds and to the secondary derisking of the Credit Portfolio Management of the bank. Flow Syndicate is in charge of DCM, Corporate & Leverage Finance. Non-Flow Syndicate is responsible for real assets, fund finance and non-flow securitized products. The Credit Trading group is in charge of the secondary derisking of the bank and actively pursuing liquidity for our clients across flow and non-flow supported by a dedicated Credit Sales Force combining private and public sales as well as the credit insurance sales.
The role is embedded in the DCS COO Office team and more particularly consists in assisting the Syndicate COO and taking ownership of the creation, enhancement and performance of a certain number of management monitoring reports. In a context of a deep transformation of our Global Financing activities, the ultimate objective is to contribute to a better risk management and profitability of our distribution activities.
Summary of responsibilities:
- Production of the risk monitoring report in relation to the underwriting positions of GLBA (Notional exposure, Stress tests).
- Production of distribution monitoring report to better monitor and pivot DCS distribution.
- Contribution to ad hoc analysis in the framework of management requests.
- Contribution to build tactical Excel-based or Power BI-based tools.
- Contribution to the definition of the target industrialised system to manage the underwriting exposures and distribution.
- Contribute to the permanent control set up.
Competencies:
- Advanced command of Excel, experience using data-oriented languages such as SQL and Python for data analysis, data visualisation and reporting such as Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of IT and data-management techniques and tools.
- Analytical, logical mindset.
- Attention to detail, detail-minded.
- Willingness to go beyond the IT processing and understand the underlying business concepts.
- Capacity to think out of the box and go beyond the specific requests.
