About the team: Our Infrastructure Finance business, with teams based in Paris, London, Madrid, Milan, Hong Kong, Sydney, and New York, is responsible for advisory services and financing solutions across various infrastructure sectors including transportation, networks, water, waste, energy transition, energy services, core plus / value add infra, social infrastructure, and PPPs. We work closely with colleagues across other lines such as DCM, Coverage, ESG, etc., to offer comprehensive solutions tailored to our clients' needs. We have an established client base and are experiencing increased deal flow, with ambitions to expand further.

Summary of Key Purposes of the Role: We seek a VP to lead deal execution, develop contacts, and enhance origination skills, working closely with the London team and international colleagues. The role involves:

  • Leading or assisting in transaction management and delivery
  • Building and managing client relationships in the EMEA region
  • Identifying and addressing clients' capital raising needs
  • Representing the Business Line internally to provide top-tier advisory and arranging services

Responsibilities:

  • Client Coverage: Engage with clients in loan and bond markets across infrastructure sectors, including utilities, transportation, water, and social infrastructure.
  • Business Development: Support mandate acquisition through market knowledge, opportunity identification, and pitch presentations.
  • Mandate Execution: Lead or support execution teams, maintain relationships, and oversee transaction files for compliance.
  • Product Development: Collaborate across lines to develop offerings aligned with strategy.
  • Client Development: Build networks, maintain relationships, and support marketing efforts.
  • Internal Representation: Engage with internal teams for onboarding, credit approval, and providing advisory services.

Profile Required:

  • Experience in credit solutions within the infrastructure sector with a proven transaction track record.
  • Understanding of loan and bond markets and related instruments.
  • Strong numeracy, financial statement, and cash flow skills.
  • Robust financial modeling and risk management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, with strong negotiation skills and client focus.
  • Ability to develop new clients and products.
