PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the Global Marketing team, you will drive strategic marketing initiatives that enhance brand positioning, lead generation, and business growth within the Pharma industry. You will develop and execute high-impact marketing campaigns, craft compelling content, and manage multichannel promotional strategies to strengthen SGS’s market presence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in the development of the overall global strategy for the business unit, including setting key markets, services, and financial targets.
- Develop and implement the annual marketing strategy in collaboration with the VP of Pharma and cross-functional teams.
- Manage and optimize the global marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Lead the creation of digital and print campaigns to increase brand visibility and audience engagement.
- Define go-to-market strategies for new services, product launches, or geographic expansions.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create and maintain marketing assets (fact sheets, brochures, whitepapers, articles, presentations).
- Develop consistent messaging for web, email, webinars, and social media platforms.
- Execute and analyze organic and paid marketing campaigns, including PPC, account-based marketing, and lead generation initiatives.
- Design and oversee the production of marketing collateral, working with agencies as needed.
- Oversee social media and email marketing strategies to maximize engagement and visibility.
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with SGS branding, digital guidelines, and regulations (GDPR, industry standards, etc.).
- Plan and coordinate participation in industry events, trade shows, and webinars.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including industry associations and media partners.
- Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, adjusting strategies based on insights.
- Track market trends and the competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
PROFILE & REQUIRED SKILLS
- 6+ years of experience in digital marketing, content strategy, and campaign execution.
- Strong skills in content creation, copywriting, and visual marketing.
- Hands-on experience with social media marketing (LinkedIn) and email automation tools.
- Solid understanding of the Pharma and Biopharma industries.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on high-quality content delivery.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (Eloqua, Salesforce) and design tools (Canva or similar).
- Experience in event management, including logistics and promotion.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
- Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing KPIs and optimizing campaigns.
- Ability to work effectively in a global, fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.
Preferred location is Europe. This position requires minimal global travel (1-2 times a year).
