About the Team: The Group’s strategic roadmap has placed digital and innovation at the core of its strategic plan to ensure improved operational efficiency and reliance on digital and data-first technology by leveraging the SG Markets Digital platform offering. The GBTO/SGM team is comprised of 5 global org streams, enhancing the digital journey of Société Générale’s clients and staff across the SG Markets platform.

Summary of Key Purposes of the Role:

  • Gather & Analyse business requirements by liaising with Product Owners/ Business Partners.
  • Writing detailed functional specifications (Epics, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria) by interacting with the Product Owner.
  • Participate in testing, deployment, and production activities of the team to ensure production stability.
  • Ensure vendor relationship and coordination with technical consultant as part of project/support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development: Develop code snippets and scripts as needed; participate in updating code where needed.
  • Testing: Perform end-to-end testing by defining test scenarios, documenting defects, and ensuring that the product aligns with target visions before operational use.
  • Production support: Support inquiries, issues, and major events to identify root cause and resolution.
  • Deployment: Assist in drafting release notes, develop Release Scripts, manage tools used for releases, and execute deployments to environments.

Profile required:

Technical Essential:

  • Familiarity with bash/command line scripts.
  • Application and Infrastructure/Middleware Support and Maintenance.
  • Working Knowledge of Windows/Linux Server administration.
  • Understanding of Web Security, Authentication, HTTPS.
  • Working Knowledge of CI/CD, Teamcity, GitHub, and Jira.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Software development C# .NET, TDD, API development, SQL Skills.
  • Project Management understanding of PostgreSQL and Rabbit MQ administration.
  • Understanding of Technical Architecture of Applications.
