Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Act as a Corporate Sales person in the UK interest rate derivative team in MARK/FIC/COR London.
  • Identify clients' hedging requirements through regular contact and in-depth research.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including financial engineers, MRA, and Research, to develop tailored solutions based on current market conditions.
  • Market these solutions via pitches, calls, and in-person meetings.
  • Provide transparency to clients regarding proposed solutions, working with product specialists as needed.
  • Execute transactions for all types of interest rate derivatives, whether flow or structured.
  • Support the marketing efforts of team members, including client pitches and internal documents.
  • Liaise with relationship managers, DCM, SG financing products, and other departments to develop cross-selling opportunities.
  • Maintain oversight of KYC requirements for UK clients and ensure regulatory compliance before trading.
  • Ensure credit lines are in place and trades are within limits.
  • Handle back/middle office and legal issues efficiently, acting as a conduit between clients and relevant teams.

  • Excellent mathematical skills, capable of understanding complex concepts and performing quick mental arithmetic.

  • Effective communication skills for interaction with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
