SGS Heating & Electrical is a well-established heating, plumbing & electrical company based in Salisbury, Wiltshire. Our service offering covers all heating, plumbing and electrical solutions needed in a home or business, as well as providing Renewable and Solar PV systems and full bathroom and kitchen installations.
The role sits primarily within our Electrical Department and would be extremely varied, but the key tasks would include:
- Electrical Projects and Installation work
- Electrical testing and inspection
- Re-wires of domestic properties, including 1st and 2nd Fix
- Reactive maintenance works
- Heating controls (training provided)
- Solar PV installations (training provided)
Key qualifications and requirements:
- A completed apprenticeship
- City & Guilds 2365 (Part 1 and 2)
- City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
- City & Guilds BS7671 (18th Edition)
- Strong attention to detail is essential
- Good communication skills with the ability to work alongside other people inside and outside the business
- Used to working to a program of works and to deadlines
- Organised with the ability to prioritise own workload and work proactively
- Experience working in customer-occupied properties and dealing with customers
- Would be beneficial to be based within a commutable distance of Salisbury
