As our workload continues to grow, we’re looking for a reliable and skilled Plumbing and Heating Engineer who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.
The Role
As a Plumbing and Heating Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing domestic plumbing and heating systems as well as plumbing in and commissioning new residential park homes and caravans. You’ll work directly in customers’ homes, representing the business through both your technical ability and your professional, respectful approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair domestic heating systems (including boilers and radiators)
- Plumb in, gas connect and commission new residential park homes and caravans.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently and safely
- Carry out routine maintenance and safety checks
- Ensure all work complies with current regulations and industry standards
- Communicate clearly with customers, explaining work completed and any recommendations
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and respectful working environment in customers’ homes
- Accurately complete job records and paperwork
- Work independently and as part of a small team
Requirements
- Qualified Heating Engineer with relevant certifications (e.g. ACS or Gas Safe registered with CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1
- LPG qualified preferable, however training will be provided for the correct candidate.
- Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
- Friendly, professional manner with customers and good communication.
