We are currently seeking a Colour and Print Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid working opportunity, with your onsite time most likely being spent at our primary UK location, based in Hull.
This role will see you focusing on print and plate analysis, and fingerprinting for flexo, offset, and gravure printers. Therefore, it goes without saying that you will be a technically strong colour or print management professional, with the experience to back this up.
This role will see you play a key role in our Global Colour Team - and not only will you have the opportunity to support the ongoing centralisation of the team, and drive continuous improvement across all areas of our work, but you will also have the opportunity to flex your developing leadership muscles too, as you take on the day to day management of a small team of dedicated specialists. Not only that, but you will also have the opportunity to travel across the UK and Europe to supervise processes and lend your expertise onsite.

In this role you will:
- Troubleshoot plate & print issues
- Work directly with printers and end user accounts when print results are not as expected
- Work with other Global Colour Team members to implement and drive standardization, centralization, and globalization across the business
- Prepare training materials, and provide training to the internal team
- Document SOP’s for new processes and corrective actions
- Lead and support technical projects, and project teams
- Represent the color team for customer on-boarding
You will have:
- 7+ years’ experience in colour measurement or print management
- The ability to evaluate fingerprint data
- Solid understanding of measurement tools
- Experience in prepress and flexo plate manufacturing (Gravure knowledge advantageous)
- Experience in all aspects of colour and proofing
