Building on the legacy of trusted service since 1947 and 1953, SGX will deliver the full suite of packaging graphics, plate and cylinder production, and metal deco services to brand owners, retailers, and printers—all with a focus on reducing complexity, delivering flawless in-market execution, and leveraging global reach to drive consistency and impact at scale.

We are seeking a commercially astute and technically credible Account Manager to support the management of complex, high-volume packaging accounts within FMCG and regulated sectors. This role combines technical print expertise with commercial ownership, structured client reporting and operational optimisation. The successful candidate will work closely with the Account Director to ensure quality, margin control and service excellence — while fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment across artwork, repro and offshore functions. This role requires strong technical credibility balanced with coaching capability and a commitment to raising standards through partnership and shared learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account & Client Management
    • Act as day-to-day operational lead across assigned accounts.
    • Build strong working relationships with client stakeholders.
    • Ensure service levels, timelines and quality standards are consistently met.
    • Support preparation and delivery of Quarterly Business Reviews.
    • Provide proactive updates on project status, risks and opportunities.
  • Technical Print & Packaging Oversight
    • Oversee the artwork-to-print lifecycle from brief through repro and production.
    • Liaise with artwork, pre‑press, QC and production teams to ensure right‑first‑time delivery.
    • Provide clear technical guidance on print processes, materials, colour and compliance requirements.
    • Identify and resolve technical challenges proactively.
    • Ensure all outputs meet brand, legal and production standards.
  • Commercial Management (Quoting & Invoicing)
    • Oversee quoting activity to ensure accuracy, margin alignment and compliance with agreed rate cards.
    • Maintain oversight of invoicing including FO tracking, accruals and revenue reconciliation.
    • Partner with Finance to resolve invoice queries and minimise aged debt.
    • Monitor workload volumes against revenue performance.
    • Support forecasting and commercial planning cycles.
  • Reporting & Performance Management
    • Develop and maintain structured reporting dashboards covering volume, SLA adherence, quality metrics and cost efficiency.
    • Analyse data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
    • Support the Account Director in preparing quarterly review materials.
    • Translate operational metrics into clear, client‑ready insights.
  • Operational Excellence & Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with studio, repro and offshore teams to improve workflow efficiency and reduce rework.
    • Provide constructive technical guidance and share knowledge to build capability within the wider team.
    • Support colleagues in navigating complex print or packaging challenges.
    • Encourage best practice briefing and quality standards across projects.
    • Influence positive behaviours through professionalism, clarity and approachability.
    • Escalate risks early and manage critical paths effectively.
  • This role does not include direct line management responsibility, but does require the ability to coach, support and positively influence team members across functions.
  • Secondary Account Support
    • Provide operational support and backup coverage on additional FMCG packaging accounts.
    • Ensure continuity of service during peak periods or leave cover.
    • Support complex launches and redesign initiatives as required.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 7+ years’ experience in packaging artwork, print development or account management within FMCG or regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of print processes (flexo, gravure, litho, digital), colour management and packaging materials.
  • Experience overseeing quoting and invoicing processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence managing commercial data.
  • Experience building performance reporting or dashboards.
  • Experience working with MIS/PLM and approval systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor or guide cross‑functional colleagues.
Key Competencies
  • Commercially aware and margin focused.
  • Technically credible in print and packaging.
  • Collaborative and supportive team approach.
