Salary: Base salary of £32,349.49, with the potential to earn up to £35,606.77 per annum including sleep-ins
Working Hours / Shift Pattern: 42 hours per week, rota basis with 2 days on / 2 days off, staggered starts (8am, 12pm or 2pm)
Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time
Sleep-ins: Sleep-ins required, £62.64 per sleep
Service: Children’s Residential Home
Service Users: Boys aged 6–18 with emotional and behavioural needs requiring therapeutic residential support
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Experience Required: Previous experience within children’s residential care, EBD, social care, residential care or youth work. Previous leadership or Deputy Manager experience preferred.

Who we are looking for: Our client is seeking an experienced and approachable Deputy Manager who can support the Registered Manager in delivering high-quality care and operational leadership. You will be confident leading shifts, supporting staff development, maintaining compliance, and ensuring positive outcomes for young people.
You will ideally have:
- Experience within an Ofsted-regulated children’s residential setting
- Strong safeguarding and regulatory knowledge
- Experience supervising, mentoring or leading staff
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Understanding of the challenges faced by looked after children
- A willingness to learn and develop professionally
- A full, clean UK driving licence
- Flexibility to support other homes where required
